Born and raised in Flint Michigan, Chopper's first moves were driven by the beat of his mothers heart. By the age of thirteen Chopper was determined to pursue success in basketball and track, but neither sport gave him the same raw joy as dance. He soon returned to the studio and by his junior year decided to make his living in dance. Chopper followed the footsteps of his older sister by applying to Western Michigan University as a dance major. It was in this setting that he gained a deep appreciation for other forms of dance like ballet, modern, jazz and also choreography. In his junior year of college Chopper received his first call of destiny. A childhood friend had just been signed to a Warner Bros. record deal and Chopper got a call to go on the road as a dancer. Since then Chopper has gone on to work with artists such as Lil Bow Wow (Scream Tour) and Nsync (No Strings Attached Tour). Upon moving to L.A. he has worked with top choreographers including Tina Landon, RoRo and hi hat, and artists Omarion, Ginuwine, Missy Elliot and many more. Most recently Chopper choreographed for the artist Ginuwine and has also danced in the feature films “You Got Served” and ”Stomp The Yard”. He is blessed with an amazing dancing gift and his passion springs from his appreciation of that gift. Be on the lookout for Chopper he is a talent on the rise.
